Outcome, Summative, & Impact Evaluation
Overview
PATH-GDS is a two-year program to introduce and train MS Statistics and MS Applied Mathematics students in genomics research.
Evaluation Approach
Evaluators will develop an annual survey to determine satisfaction with the program, knowledge of genomic data science, and laboratory, research, and mentorship experiences. Evaluators will develop metrics of program impact, tracking participant progress and longitudinal outcomes. We will also conduct focus groups with students and alumni of the program. In years 4-5, evaluators will provide summative evaluation reports which will encompass all program data to date.
